Abstract
Bireysel psikoloji ekolünün kurucusu Alfred Adler tarafından ileri sürülen aşağılık kompleksi, kişinin kendisini bazı bakımlardan hemcinslerinden aşağı görme halidir. Bu durum, ferdin sosyal yaşama adaptasyonunda önemli düzeyde problemler yaratır. Adler, bu kompleksin kökeni olarak okul başlangıcına kadar olan aile yaşamını gösterir. Ona göre ebeveynin bebeklik ve ilk çocukluk döneminde çocuğunu şımartması veya ihmal etmesi aşağılık karmaşasının başlangıcını teşkil eder. İlerleyen yıllarda sosyal çevrenin olumsuz sözleri ve davranışları, ailede tohumları atılan kompleksin kalıcı bir kimliğe bürünmesine yol açar. Psikolojik bir kavram olan aşağılık kompleksi, bireyin psişik dünyasını aydınlatmaya çalışan edebiyatın güçlü türü romanda da karşımıza çıkar. Bu çalışmada, Adalet Ağaoğlu’nun Üç Beş Kişi isimli eserinde aşağılık kompleksinin Murat ve Kısmet adlarındaki iki kardeş üzerinde yarattığı olumsuz ruhi neticeler gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Annesi ve babası tarafından küçük yaşlarında şımartılan Murat ve ihmal edilen Kısmet, karar verme ve eyleme geçme noktasında ciddi zorluklarla karşılaşır. Ayrıca gençlik yıllarında etkileşim halinde bulundukları yakın kişilerin küçümseyici laflarına maruz kalmaları da onlarda aşağılık kompleksini güçlendirir. Bunun neticesinde her ikisi de güçsüzlük/yetersizlik, önemsizlik, utangaçlık, egemenlik kurma arzusu, beğenilmek/övülmek, güvensizlik gibi tinsel eğilimler sergiler. İlk etapta her iki kardeşin aşağılık karmaşasına hapsolmalarında aile ve arkadaş ortamının olumsuz etkileri gösterilmiş, daha sonra ise bu kompleksin onların iç dünyasında yarattığı olumsuz hislere değinilmiştir.

Abstract
The inferiority complex put forward by Alfred Adler, the founder of the individual psychology school, is the state of a person himself as inferior to his fellows in some respects. This situation creates significant problems in his adaptation to social life. Adler attributes the origin of this complex to the family life up to the beginning of school. According to him, the parents’ pampering or neglecting their child in infancy and early childhood constitutes the beginning of the inferiority complex. In the following years, the negative words and behaviors of the social environment cause this complex, whose seeds have been planted in the family, to take on a permanent identity. As a psychological concept, the inferiority complex also appears in attempting to illuminate the individual’s psychic world novels, and influential genres of literature. In this study, the negative spiritual consequences of the inferiority complex on two siblings named Murat and Kısmet have been tried to provide an insight into Adalet Ağaoğlu's masterpiece called Three Five Person. Murat, was pampered by his mother and father from an early age, and on the other hand, Kismet, who was neglected, faced serious difficulties in making decisions and putting them into action in their daily lives. In addition, being exposed to the condescending words of the familiar people with whom they have interacted since their youth also strengthens their inferiority complex. As a result, both have shown spiritual tendencies such as powerlessness/incompetence, insignificance, shyness, desire to dominate, to be admired/praised, and insecurity. İn the first stage, the negative effects of the family and friends’ environment, inducing both siblings to be trapped in the inferiority complex, are shown, and then the negative feelings created by this complex in their inner world are mentioned.
